I keep my chilli jams as pure and simple as I possibly can. Tomato, chilli, garlic, ginger, vinegar, sugar and a wee dash of Nam Pla (thai fish sauce) for depth of flavour.
There are no preservatives, colourings or gelling agents added. You won't find any chilli powder or paste, no tinned, chopped or pureed tomatoes and most definitely no E numbers. What you will find, however, is a whole load of just old fashioned fresh produce. Nothing more, nothing less, the way it should be.
I buy my produce from local markets to ensure freshness and I select all the produce myself. By going to local wholesale markets I ensure the freshest possible ingredients are used to make the best quality chilli jam that I can make. At the end of the day the reason I started making my chilli jam for you in the first place is that I enjoy it so much myself and I know you will too !
